How To Cook White Trout

White trout is a delicious fish that can be cooked in a variety of ways, such as baking, grilling, frying, or poaching. Here is a simple recipe for baking white trout:

Ingredients:

  • 2 whole white trout, cleaned and scaled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh herbs such as thyme, parsley, or dill (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Rinse the trout under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

  3. Place the trout on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. Drizzle olive oil over the trout and rub it all over the fish.

  5. Season both the inside and outside of the fish with salt and pepper.

  6. Stuff the cavity of the trout with lemon slices and fresh herbs, if using.

  7. Bake the trout for 15-20 minutes or until the flesh is opaque and easily flakes with a fork.

  8. Serve the baked white trout with additional lemon wedges and fresh herbs, if desired.
